PureSocial — Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 7, 2026

Bolmer Ventures ("we," "us," or "our") operates the PureSocial mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Data: While using our App, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including the items below.

  • Email: Collected via Sign in with Apple and used for account creation, authentication, and communication.
  • Phone number: Optional; collected if you sign up for a waitlist and used to send waitlist reminders, feature announcements, or other marketing communications.
  • User / Account Identifiers: Identifiers generated by our authentication system (for example, Supabase user IDs) used to authenticate your account and link subscription entitlements.
  • Device Identifiers: Device identifiers or push tokens collected by third-party services (such as Adapty or Apple) to deliver notifications and manage subscriptions.
  • Purchase / Subscription History: Records of in-app purchases and subscription status used to grant access, provide customer support, and for analytics and fraud prevention.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

  • Manage your account and authentication via Supabase.
  • Process subscriptions and in-app purchases through Adapty and Apple.
  • Grant access to purchased content and manage subscriptions, including retaining purchase/subscription history for access control, customer support, analytics, and fraud prevention.
  • Deliver push notifications and scheduled reminders using device identifiers or push tokens provided by the device or third-party subscription infrastructure.

Notifications

The app may ask for permission to send push notifications. If you grant permission, we may use notifications to deliver trial reminders, subscription reminders, account-related messages, and other time-sensitive notices. Notifications require a device push token or identifier to be delivered; you can manage or revoke notification permissions in your device settings.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with third-party service providers only to the extent necessary to provide the service:

  • Supabase: Our backend provider for database hosting and secure authentication.
  • Adapty & Apple: Used for processing payments and managing premium subscriptions. We do not store or have access to your credit card details.

The app may also display or link to third‑party content (for example, Instagram) which may collect information about your interactions according to their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for third‑party privacy practices; please review the privacy policies of those services for details.

Embedded Instagram Content

PureSocial displays official Instagram web content inside the app using an embedded web view so users can log in and use Instagram with PureSocial’s filtering features. PureSocial does not store Instagram usernames or passwords and does not retain Instagram page content or browsing history on its own servers. However, Instagram and Meta may collect information such as cookies, IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, and interactions through this embedded experience under their own privacy policies. Use of Instagram within PureSocial is also subject to Instagram and Meta privacy practices. For details, see Instagram's privacy policy at https://help.instagram.com/519522125107875 and Meta's privacy information at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the App settings or by contacting us via our website.

On‑device Storage (Local Data)

We persist certain settings and state locally on your device to provide a smooth, personalized experience. Examples include onboarding progress, UI preferences, scheduled notification IDs, daily usage counters, and waitlist-related flags. This information is stored on the device (e.g., app-local storage or platform storage) and is used to restore your app state and to schedule local behavior (such as notifications). We do not share these on‑device items with third parties except as described elsewhere in this policy or if you explicitly enable a sync feature.

Tracking & Advertising

We do not use collected data to track users across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes. In App Store Connect we have declared that the app does not track users across apps or websites for advertising.

5. International Privacy (GDPR/CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to access, update, or delete the personal information we have on you. We strive to comply with global privacy standards, including the GDPR and CCPA, to ensure your data is handled transparently.
